Risk Disclaimer

Last updated: March 2026

Important Notice

Please read this Risk Disclaimer carefully before using the FundedOnChain platform. Cryptocurrency trading carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all individuals. You should carefully consider your financial situation and risk tolerance before participating in any evaluation challenge or trading activity on our platform.

1. Trading Involves Substantial Risk of Loss

Trading cryptocurrency derivatives and perpetual futures contracts involves a substantial risk of loss. It is possible to lose some or all of your initial investment, including challenge fees paid to FundedOnChain. You should not participate in trading activities with money you cannot afford to lose. The challenge fee you pay represents your maximum financial exposure to FundedOnChain, as you trade with our capital during funded account phases, but the fee itself is non-refundable once your challenge account is activated.

2. Past Performance Is Not Indicative of Future Results

Past trading performance, whether your own or that of other traders on the FundedOnChain platform, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Trading conditions, market dynamics, and individual circumstances change constantly. Any performance statistics, testimonials, or results displayed on our platform are provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as a guarantee or prediction of future performance.

3. Cryptocurrency Volatility

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and unpredictable. The value of cryptocurrencies can fluctuate dramatically within short periods due to a wide range of factors, including but not limited to:

  • Market sentiment and speculative trading activity.
  • Regulatory developments and government actions worldwide.
  • Technological changes, security breaches, and network disruptions.
  • Macroeconomic events and geopolitical developments.
  • Liquidity conditions and exchange-specific factors.
  • Market manipulation and coordinated trading activity by large market participants.

Extreme price movements can occur without warning and may result in rapid breach of drawdown limits on your evaluation or funded account.

4. Leverage Risk

Trading with leverage amplifies both potential profits and potential losses. While leverage allows traders to control larger positions with a smaller amount of capital, it also means that even small adverse price movements can result in significant losses relative to the position size. A leveraged position in a volatile cryptocurrency market can be liquidated rapidly during adverse market conditions.

You should fully understand how leverage works and its implications before engaging in leveraged trading. FundedOnChain’s challenge rules may include specific leverage restrictions, and it is your responsibility to manage your leverage and position sizing within the defined parameters.

5. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on the FundedOnChain platform, including but not limited to website content, platform features, analytics tools, educational materials, community discussions, or communications from our team, should be construed as financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. We strongly recommend that you consult with qualified financial, legal, and tax professionals before making any trading or investment decisions.

6. User Responsibility

By using FundedOnChain, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • You are solely responsible for all trading decisions made on your evaluation and funded accounts.
  • You have sufficient knowledge and experience to understand the risks involved in cryptocurrency trading.
  • You have read and understood the challenge rules, including profit targets, drawdown limits, and breach conditions, before purchasing a challenge.
  • You are trading voluntarily and accept the risk of losing your challenge fee.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • You will manage your risk appropriately, including the use of stop-loss orders and proper position sizing.

7. FundedOnChain Is Not a Broker or Financial Advisor

FundedOnChain operates as a proprietary trading evaluation platform. We are not a broker, dealer, financial institution, exchange, custodian, or registered investment advisor. We do not:

  • Execute trades on your behalf or manage your portfolio.
  • Hold or custody your personal funds or cryptocurrencies.
  • Provide personalized investment or trading recommendations.
  • Guarantee any specific trading outcomes or returns.
  • Act as an intermediary between you and any exchange or market.

Our role is limited to providing a structured evaluation framework, monitoring compliance with challenge rules, and processing profit-sharing payouts for qualifying traders. All trading occurs on Bybit’s infrastructure, and your relationship with Bybit is governed by Bybit’s own terms of service.

8. Demo vs. Live Trading Differences

FundedOnChain evaluations are conducted on simulated (demo) trading accounts. It is important to understand that demo trading environments may differ from live trading conditions in several key ways:

  • Execution: demo accounts may not accurately replicate real-world order execution, including slippage, partial fills, and order rejection.
  • Liquidity: demo environments may not reflect actual market liquidity conditions, particularly during high volatility or for less liquid trading pairs.
  • Emotional factors: trading with simulated capital does not carry the same psychological and emotional impact as trading with real money, which can significantly affect decision-making and performance.
  • Market impact: demo trades do not affect the actual market, whereas live trades may experience market impact, especially with larger position sizes.
  • Data feeds: while demo accounts use live price data, minor discrepancies between demo and live environments may occur.

Success in a demo evaluation does not guarantee success in live trading conditions. Traders should be aware that transitioning from simulated to real trading environments may produce different results.

9. No Guarantees

FundedOnChain makes no guarantees regarding the availability, reliability, or performance of the platform. While we strive to maintain high uptime and accurate data, we are not liable for losses resulting from platform downtime, data inaccuracies, technical errors, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Acknowledgment

By using the FundedOnChain platform and purchasing evaluation challenges, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described in this Risk Disclaimer. You agree that FundedOnChain, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any losses arising from your trading activities or participation in evaluation challenges.
